We are a medium sized manufacturing business with plants both here and in Thailand.  We are seeking a bookkeeper/ payroll clerk, to work in our Mordialloc, to fill a maternity leave vacancy.  Currently the role requires 4 days per week attendance (Tuesday to Friday), however, this may be initially higher while you are learning the company processes.

The approximate makeup of the role will be as follows:

60%   Payroll, Superannuation and HR activities

40%   miscellaneous activities including:

  • Accounts receivable
  • Accounts payable
  • Daily and Monthly Management reports
  • Relief reception
  • General office housekeeping including office supplies

To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate:

  • Experience and thorough knowledge of MYOB
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Bookkeeping
  • High level of self organisation
  • High level of ability in Microsoft Office suite with particular regard to Excel

In addition to the above necessary requirements, candidates with the following skills go to the top of the list:

  • HR3 software
  • Timelog software and hardware
