ABOUT US:
Auto Corner is one of the largest provincial automotive dealerships in Australia, employing over 220 people across 3 locations.
POSITION VACANT
An exciting new opportunity has become available to fill the role of Company Accountant. Subject to Experience and Qualification, the successful applicant for the position is envisaged to earn a package (super inclusive) of around $80K+ P.A. (as well as a maintained car).
The Role will include (but is not limited to) :
- Daily Forecasting of Future Cash Flow
- Daily authorisation of bank payments
- Weekly proofing and authorisation of payroll
- Calculation of employee commissions
- Preparation of monthly internal financial statements within a given timeframe
- Monthly preparation of Franchise Returns
- Monthly preparation of BAS
- Annual preparation of FBT, Payroll Tax, and Work Cover Returns
- Continual GL reconciliation and audit processes
- Year End Reconciliations of Financial Statement Balances
- Staff supervision and mentoring.
Required Skills and Attributes:
The successful applicant will have a Degree in Accounting and hold either CPA or CA accreditation. It is envisaged the successful applicant would also be able to display 5+ year experience with a small to medium business in a management accounting role. A familiarity with the Motor Vehicle Industry would be a distinct advantage to progress your application. Exposure to, and knowledge of, the Pentana Dealer Management System ERA would be a distinct advantage.
