Our client is a well established fashion designer and manufacture located in the stunning inner Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy, supporting and supplying to local and international customers. Joining an experienced financial and accounts team, you will be supporting the business as an experience Accounts Receivable consultant while covering for a 12 month maternity leave contract.

The Role

Working in a team of three and reporting to the Credit/Finance Manager, the Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for the following 

• Accounts receivable end to end
• Debtor payment reconciliations
• Recovery of outstanding debts in accordance to company policy
• Maintenance of debtors report
• Bank Reconciliation
• Processing credit applications/ accounts set-up
• Data entry and coding (online daily transfers)
• Assistance in general finance and ad hoc tasks as required: include banking, filing, mail and other administrative tasks


About You

• Proven experience within Accounts Receivable, ideally 2-4 years experience
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Ability to handle high volume customer queries and debtors maintenance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong negotiating skills
• MYOB Experience is highly desired
• Proficient with MS Office
• Exposure to the ERP system SEAMS (not required but advantageous)
• Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisational skills
