Job Title: Senior Accountant
We are looking for a senior accountant with strong tax and accounting knowledge to manage an existing client base that consists of small-medium sized businesses ranging from $1m through to $20m turnover. The role will also involve mentoring intermediate level accountants with a view to developing their technical skill-set and client management.
Ideally the successful applicant would have circa 5 years’ experience in public practice across a range of different industries. Qualities that we are looking for would include being confident at running client meetings, pro-active at identifying opportunities for clients to improve their business, high levels of accuracy, and an ability to get great results and outcomes for our clients.
Day to day functions that you will be performing in this role include:
- General compliance for SME clients
- Reviewing work prior to being sent to clients
- Tax Planning
- Meeting with clients
- Mentoring intermediate staff

- Valuations
- Succession & Estate planning
- Restructuring
- Needs analysis
