The Client
Our client, a Brisbane based statutory authority, is looking to recruit a Senior Analyst to join the existing team based in the CBD.
The Role
The ultimate responsibility of this role will be to review data and information from a range of sources to develop solutions to problems and issues with regulation of the specific industry in Queensland.
You will work with a high degree of discipline and autonomy and apply highly developed research skills, significant and detailed knowledge of regulatory economics and contemporary economic theory to develop tools and models to analyse complex issues and problems that need resolution. You will also prepare detailed and technically sound reports containing solid and defensible recommendations to regulatory issues at hand.
The Candidate
You will have qualifications in finance, law or economics and have demonstrated experience in a similar role, where you have prepared well supported written analysis through accurate economic or financial modelling. You will have the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and have impeccable communications skills.
