Your new company
Based in the north of Canberra, in state at of the art offices, along with free parking and the opportunity to continue a successful career in payroll, our client is looking for multiple payroll officers.
Your new role
Tasks will include but not be limited to:
- creating files for new employees to record payroll data
- maintaining & updating files for existing employees to record information such as contact details, leave , overtime, promotions, transfers, tax deductions, health insurance payments and superannuation
- preparing data from time sheets and other payroll and personnel records
- processing payment of wages and salaries
- interpreting EA's and EBA's
- finalising files and arrangements when employees retire, resign or transfer
- analysing data to assist with decision making reviewing process to suggest improvements
- creating and maintaining SOP’s
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered, you will need to be able demonstrate experience in a payroll environment, processing end to end payroll, providing advice to employees and maintaining employee files in a HRMIS system. You will need to have working rights in Australia to be considered.
