Client Details
Our client is a growing mining organisation headquartered here in Perth with over 200 employees based in Australia and overseas. Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will be assisting with the Accounts Receivable and Accounts payable team.
Description
As part of this role as an Accounts Officer your duties will include:
- Responsible for processing the end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Reconciliations - banks, credit cards etc.
- Accurate recording of all data in Pronto
- Reconciliations of bank accounts and credit cards
- Processing foreign currency transactions
- End of month duties and responsibilities
- Client liaison and relationship management
- Other ad hoc duties as required
Profile
The ideal candidate will have held at least 3 years’ experience in an Accounts Officer role. It is also essential to have:
- A proactive and positive attitude and the ability to work autonomously
- Strong problem solving and organisational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and advanced Excel skills
- A helpful and can do attitude
