About the Job:
The Business Analyst will report to the Regional Sales Development Manager and will be responsible for the utilization of resources ensuring full and effective analytical sales support is delivered in a timely manner and developing sales management processes. Co-ordination of systems maintenance, analysis of sales performance and project work. Assist with all cross functional projects and route tactical activity affecting the market and be the key interface with Head Office and major trade bodies. Contributes to sales strategy and revenue target. Contribute to determine the fare strategy and ensure an optimized distribution.
In addition, support the team in evaluating QR fares, price our products based on competitive feedback of other airlines fares provided by QR sales team/travel agents. Review ad-hoc fare requests based on the flight loads. Support in studying and analysing individual market trends and position QR competitive fares accordingly; recommend changes to fare distribution strategy.
About You:
To be effective in this role, experience with revenue management / pricing principles and practices AND proficient in MS EXCEL is required for this role.
You will need a bachelors degree combined with a minimum of four years of job related experience. Specific business analysis experience, intermediate proficiency of MS EXCEL , within a matrix-style organisation and within the aviation or travel or hospitality industry would be well regarded. This role also requires strong analytical ability, business acumen and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
