This position would suit a commercial accountant wanting to get back into public practice!



Our client is a growing Sunshine Coast firm looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join their close-knit accounting team. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Preparation of Financial Statements, Tax Returns, BAS, IAS, Payment Summary Statements and other requirements
  • Supervising junior accountants
  • Identify compliance concerns and opportunities as they arise
  • Ability to research and provide advice on technical matters

The candidate must be organised, have excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and provide a high level of accuracy. The right candidate will contribute positively to our business, enjoy working in a team environment and have the ability to multitask, plan and solve problems as they arise.
  • CA/CPA qualified or working towards
  • Proven experience working as a Public Accounting Practice in Australia
  • Able to work with a client on all compliance and business services matters with minimal supervision
  • Experience using MYOB, Xero, BankLink, Reckon, Class & BGL
  • Commercial accounting experience is a bonus!
