This highly reputable Chartered Accounting firm is seeking a motivated Intermediate or Stand-Out Junior Accountant with a passion for business services and taxation. You will continue to gain experience in Business Services and Taxation while being trusted with more client exposure, complex and challenging work. Joining a supportive and collaborative team your key responsibilities will include:

• Client consultations
• Preparing financial statements for all entities including companies, partnerships, trusts, and superannuation funds
• Preparing tax returns for the above entities as well as individuals
• Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements
• Fostering key relationships to develop clients and Business for the firm
• Assisting your portfolio of clients with their accounting requirements
• Providing technical advice and adding value to your client portfolio
• Taxation advice

  
About You

• 2-3 years experience working in a similar role for a reputable Australian accounting firm
• Experience in preparation of tax returns, business activity statements and financial reports for individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies.
• Excellent communications skills - both written and verbal
• Experience in dealing with 3rd parties on behalf of clients - eg. ATO, SRO, etc
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Degree qualified and commenced or looking to commence CPA/CA
