Part of an international group of companies, this local business specialises in the manufacture and distribution of fit-for-purpose components for supply to large and small businesses within the construction industry. The local operation aims to provide innovative, high-quality products and also to enhance the customer experience by providing exceptional service and knowledgeable product support.

This organisation is currently seeking an experienced Financial Accountant on a permanent basis at $80,000 - 90,000 + super.

Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you main responsibilities will involve maintaining the New Zealand ledger of the organisation. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Daily cash flow forecasting
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Reconciliations, including intercompany reconciliations
• Assisting with budgeting
• Cash management
• Journal entries
• Foreign currency calculations
• Supervising a finance team of 5 when needed
• Ad hoc accounting duties

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this role you must have hands on experience working as a Financial Accountant. You must have clear and concise communication skills, as well as excellent people management skills. You must be available to commence immediately.
