We are currently seeking a Part Time (2 days a week) Bookkeeper/Office Assistant to join a professional friendly Kitchen Company based in Hallam. You can select your days you wish to work, but it must be consistent every week.

Job tasks and responsibilities

In this role you will work autonomously dealing with all aspects of Bookkeeping.

  • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Reconciliation - Bank and G/L
  • Process and Payment of all End of Month Compliances
  • Calculation and Lodgement of IAS/Bas and PAYG
  • Knowledge of Workcover and Payment
  • Reporting to the Directors - Entry of all EOY Journals
  • Cash Flow and Financial Reporting
  • Maintain Office
  • Create Customer Invoices and follow up payments
  • General administrative duties as required

 

 

Skills and experience

Key Criteria/Skills

  • Experience with MYOB 
  • Minimum 3 years Experience in similar role
  • Down to Earth/Friendly attitude in a Relaxed Company Environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Quick learner and problem solving capability
  • Good understanding of accounting principles, General Ledgers, Financials
  • Efficient in Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Accurate data entry skills & process high attention to detail.
  • Great organisation skills.
  • A professional attitude
  • Ability to multi task.
  • Motivated and willing to take on new challenges.
  • Demonstrate the willingness to learn and develop.
  • Able to follow procedures & systems.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
