Key Responsibilities

• Accounting  support with travel/tourism specialisation
• Process AP invoices and maintain Cashflow platform
• Reconcile daily bank movement – multi currency
• Perform tasks associated with processing flight costs and accountability
• Perform Refund calculations, ensuring all MSC Cruises Terms & Conditions are adhered to for cancellations and refunds (including Air and Third Party Suppliers)
• Reconcile and account for Group bookings, including costing
• Monitor and follow-up on impending/late payments
• Reservations-system maintenance
• Petty cash, including reconciliation and recharge
• Regular monthly reporting to internal and external stakeholders
• Support all other departments with assistance as required

Job-Requirements: skills, competencies, experience

• Fluent English, oral and written. Any additional European language is considered an advantage;
• Accounting qualification required (Diploma/Degree);
• 2 years' experience in a similar accounting role will be an added advantage;
• Strong systems knowledge, particularly travel booking/reservations systems;
• Analytical focus on reporting with acute attention to detail;
• Proven experience with Navision will be highly regarded;
• Advanced MS Office capability – especially Excel and Access;
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems;
• Travel/Cruise experience an advantage;
• Outstanding customer service skills;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Passion about the travel/cruise industry.
