Our Practice
Our Public Accounting Practice operates from modern offices and is conveniently located in Ringwood.
Our practice has been established for over 25 years and is continually growing. Our client base is extensive, varied and expanding.
Our dedicated Team are directly involved in providing tax, superannuation and business services to our clients. Our offices also house a Financial Planning business which provides a wider range of services to our combined client base.
The Role
We provide a full range of services to our small business clients including taxation and accounting, superannuation, financial planning and business advice. The role reports to a senior accountant and involves tasks and skills including:
- Preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies, using Handisoft.
- BAS returns preparation
- Liaising with clients
- Various other tasks
- Proficiency in using Word and Excel is also required.
- Good communication skills are essential in order to effectively communicate with clients and the ATO.
- Practical knowledge of Myob, Quickbooks, Xero and SageOne is an advantage.
About you
We are seeking a degree qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a Public Accounting firm. The ideal candidate shall be CPA/CA qualified or working towards and have a reasonable level of tax law knowledge.
To be successful for the role you will possess the following attributes:
- Minimum of 3 years' Corporate Tax experience within an Australian Public Practice environment
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders
