An ongoing temporary Finance Officer position within a not for profit organisation- Alice Springs

Your new company
An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Finance Officer to join a national reputable Not for Profit Organisation in Alice Springs on an ongoing temporary basis.

Your new role
Reporting into management you will be responsible for dealing with the finances for the Alice Springs region.
Working within a small team, your responsibilities will include:

• Accounts Payable and credit card reconciliations
• Timely and accurate processing of banking and management of minor finances
• Collate payroll to report into the National Finance Team
• Accounts Receivable and ensuring monies are collected on time
• Raising and chasing purchase orders
• Dealing with various internal and external customer via the telephone and email

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this role you will:

• Have worked in a similar role previously
• Strong experience in Accounts Payable
• Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail
• The ability to work on your own and use your own initiative
• Able to pass a Police check and obtain an OCHRE card

What you'll get in return
In return you will be working for a leading Not For Profit organisation and be paid an hourly rate of $28 + super. This is an ongoing temporary role with an immediate start.
