With a fun, contemporary office, this prominent service organisation based in Mulgrave is continuing to expand and requires the services of an experienced Credit / Collection Officer to join their small head office finance team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller; you will be required to perform the following tasks:
- Refine processes and procedures for setting up new accounts
- Daily processing of receipts - banking and allocation, for 3 business units
- Ensure debtors accounts are managed in accordance with the company policy
- Daily collection calls and emails to debtors where required
- Prepare and submit accurate trial balance reports
- Ensure all daily work is up to date
- Process credit requests
- Prepare and distribute month to date credit reports
To be considered for this role you will need to have experience in a similar role with strong credit and collection background.
This is a part time opportunity working approximately 20 hours per week - ideally 3 days per week, 9.30am - 3.00pm (however, this is negotiable if need be).
You will also require excellent written and verbal communication skills due to the fact you will be dealing with people from all levels internally and externally.
A high level of computer literacy is also required in this role; ideally with strong working knowledge of excel and MYOB!
