About The Role
As an experienced and self-motivated Collections Professional, this role will involve proactively contacting our business customers to collect outstanding invoices and negotiate repayment terms & conditions where required. This is a fulltime Permanent role, hours of work are 8.30 to 5pm, Monday to Friday, based at our office in Fortitude Valley.

 

Responsibilities
 

  • Making outbound calls to our customers to discuss outstanding payments
  • Investigating outstanding payments and negotiating payment terms
  • Following up with customers as required through phone and email
  • Receipting and processing of payments
  • Building relationships with clients to maintain debt arrangements
  • Raising and processing of credit claims
  • Reconciliation of accounts


 

Requirements
 

  • Outstanding phone manner and confidence speaking to business customers at all levels over the phone
  • Competency in fundamental operations of accounts receivable functions
  • Advanced problem solving skills with the ability to follow problems through to resolution
  • High level of administration skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to be proactive and take initiative
  • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise various tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent time management skills and a can do attitude
  • Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously as required
