The Role
We require an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our awesome team. You will process a high volume of invoices and assist with purchase orders for multiple job sites.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Duties include:
- Match invoices against purchase orders
- Process 200+ invoices per week
- Set up new suppliers and contractors
- Handle AP enquiries, requests and disputes via email and phone
- Monthly supplier statement reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Filing
- Entering purchase orders when required
- Relief reception and admin support
Skills and experience
Applicants must possess the following:
Minimum 2 years experience in a high volume accounts payable role
Purchasing experience
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Excellent computer skills
Previous experience in a construction environment will be well regarded
Previous experience with Xero would be advantageous
Self motivated and able to work autonomously
Good written and spoken communication skills
Able to work systematically and create improvement and efficiencies within processes.
