Are you looking for a role that gives you full ownership of your processes? Our client is a well known beauty wholesaler with locations all over Australia. Due to the current incumbent needing to relocate, our client is looking for someone to step into the stand alone accounts receivable position within a tight knit, social team. The offices have a warm, funky vibe and sit within walking distance from public transportation.
Your new role
This is a stand alone position reporting to the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for full function accounts receivable, including:
- Managing the debtors ledger
- Chasing unpaid debts and overdue payments
- Daily banking
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with month end
- Aged debtor reports
- Dealing with queries and problem solving
- Raising credit notes
- Ad hoc duties
What you'll need to succeed
The most important thing is attitude for this role. If you have a positive attitude, can work as a team player and be able to think outside the box then this could be the position for you! You will also possess:
- Local experience in a similar position
- Excellent communication skills
- Confidence
- Strong Excel and systems experience
- Negotiating skills
- Australian citizenship or PR
