The Company
Our client is an award-winning company and leader within their industry. They are an inspired team who are passionate about their work. They are looking for a motivated Assistant Accountant to join their team.
The Role
The Assistant Accountant will be working independently and will report directly to the Managing Director. The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for:
- Reconcile banking and credit cards
- Reconcile and make monthly PAYG payments and superannuation payments
- Reconcile and prepare payment summaries at end of year
- Preparation of month end journals and reporting
- Processing of payroll
- AP and AR duties
- Preparation of Statutory Obligations (GST/BAS)
- Preparation of annual and monthly budgets and forecasting
- Maintaining, developing and improving the financial management reporting required for decision making.
Your Experience
- Degree Qualified
- CA Qualified / Part-Qualified CPA
- Strong communication skills
- Someone with strong tax and payroll experience
- Industry experience
