Multi partner CBD firm seeking Senior Accountant to manage, mentor and review the work of junior staff
Your new company
Your new firm has just entered a high growth phase, and has created new positions within the team to accommodate the growth in clientele. You will be involved in an excellent team culture, that provides a relaxed, but hard working environment. Your new firm believes in providing high level training both internal and external. Your new role
In your new role, you will initially be working in a more tax compliance based role. As you become more accustomed to the firms' clients and processes, you will begin to adopt a more advisory focused role, as well as mentoring and reviewing the work of juniors in your team. Ideally, you will be a senior accountant who is motivated to progress to a manager within the firm, taking on a more client focused advisory role while working closely with the partners.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- CPA or CA qualified
- A thorough understanding of taxation
- Able to prioritise their management of client work
- Able to mentor and review work of junior team members
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good time management and organisational skills, and an attention to detail
