Description
As an integral member of the high performing Melbourne based Finance & Accounting team, you will assist a broad range of stakeholders in key business decisions by providing financial reporting, analysis, planning and advice for oil & gas operations in Australia and elsewhere in the Asia Pacific region. Your role may include:
- Preparation of annual financial and operating budgets for local operations
- Preparation and review of monthly management and shareholder financial reports
- Developing and executing capital management and financing strategies
- Financial analysis on business transactions and proposals
Profile
You will be a highly motivated finance professional with a strong background in analysis and reporting, from either a large corporate or chartered environment. Additionally, you will possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business or Finance
- A minimum of 3-5 years relevant professional experience
- Strong analytical skills with time spent analysing complex financial information
- Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Experience working both independently and as part of a team
- CPA or CA highly regarded, as is hands on experience with SAP
