This is a great opportunity to join one of the Australia's most successful auto spare parts retailers.

This role is a fun and challenging position for a matured minded individual who excels effective communication, attention to details, timely processing of all types of payments.

Following is the immediate scope which will be adjusted from time to time to suit the demands of the position;

 

  • Update and manage short term payment forecasts.
  • Matching invoices with Purchase Orders(POs)
  • Obtain approvals when there are no matching POs
  • Coding them and entering them in to system (MomentumPro).
  • Preparing them for weekly payment runs via EFT, Cheques & B-Pay.
  • Send remittances after processing payments.
  • Filing all paid invoices according to the alphabetical order.
  • Reconciling all payables on a monthly basis with statements received by the suppliers.
  • Providing AP reports on a quarterly basis.
  • Arrange & process all credit card payments.
  • Reconcile all credit cards on a monthly basis.
  • Reconcile all petty cash accounts in all branches.
  • Update all relevant spreadsheets on a monthly basis.
  • Manage all statutory registrations and payments on a timely manner.
  • Attend to all phone enquiries in relation to accounts payable.
  • Assist with all other enquiries when required.
  • Various other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time on as need basis.

 

As a member of our professional team, you will possess the following attributes:

  • Previous accounts payable experience
  • Outstanding verbal communication skills and phone manner
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Hands on experience with medium to advanced level Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy of all cash, cheques, EFT and credit card transactions
  • Highly motivated and professional approach
  • A commitment to working as part of a team
  • Previous experience in Pinnacle Pro & Momentum Pro systems is highly desirable but not essential.
