• accounts payable & receivable, and reconciliations
• weekly payroll
• regular reporting of BAS, PAYG, GST, EOFY for external accounting firm
• maintain statutory obligations
• manage employee records and company logistics
We are Stage ONE, a creative-production studio that specialises in prop making. Established since 1988, we are one of Australia's leaders in the space with a varied client base that continues to grow across the nation.
As an established bookkeeper you will have extensive experience with Xero accounting system. In your day-to day, you will maintain strict control of the companies finance and accounting duties, whilst receiving support with data entry and payroll processing.
Working in a lively environment, you will report to the company director, providing financial status updates, process and procedure recommendations, and HR support.
This is a 2-day per week role (Tue-Wed or Wed-Thur) located at our studio in Kensington, just outside of the Melbourne CBD. You will be an Australian citizen or permanent resident to apply and be available to commence mid July. An appreciation of arts and creativity is encouraged.
