This ASX-listed company is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team on a temporary basis. The business is a well-known brand, based in the South-Eastern suburbs and operating primarily in the insurance sector. Starting early July, this role is an end-to-end Accounts Payable function and would suit someone who is specifically looking for temporary work. 

About the Role

This is a short-term, temporary position, focusing on the following:

• Reviewing new vendor requests
• Processing invoices and auditing of invoices for accruracy
• Accounts payable reconciliations
• Monitoring of accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Back-up Accounts Receivable processing and ad hoc finance support

About You

As this is a short-term, temporary assignment, you will need to available to commence work in the next couple of weeks. You will also have the following skills and experience:

• Experience working in a medium-high volume processing environment
• Substantial experience as an Accounts Payable Officer
• A great eye for detail and willingness to learn 
• Working knowledge of basic accounting standards & principles 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
