Your new company
High performing and expanding financial services business, located on the lower North Shore has a newly created role for a career driven Senior Accountant looking to grow their career. You will work with a dynamic team who are experienced professionals from within the financial services industry, within a fast paced environment.
Your new role
Supporting the CFO and overseeing a small team you will be responsible for the financial activities of the company to ensure management have access to relevant information to support decision making. You will be involved in financial reporting and compliance (including tax), business and financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and business process improvements.
What you'll need to succeed
Attitude is key to your success in this role - in addition to having a strong technical accounting background (CA/CPA Qualified and ideally from Big 4 chartered and/or Financial Services) you need to have the ability to take ownership of your role and the team, display an inquisitive nature, be adaptable to change and relish the challenges that come with a rapidly expanding business.
