Trinity Marine Group is based in the Whitsundays, Queensland and is the parent organisation responsible for the successful operation of the Whitsunday Rent A Yacht, Sunsail Whitsundays, Shute Harbour Slipway and Rent A Yacht Holidays brands. The Position
Due to continuing expansion we are looking for a Finance Manager to join our team and maintain responsibility for the accounting functions and cost control for a thriving tourism based group of companies including two charter vessel fleets, a slipway and online travel agency. Reporting to the Managing Director, this position will play an integral role in the financial operation and success of the business.
In this role you will be responsible for managing the daily operation of the finance department, directly overseeing and assisting with accounts payable, receivables, payroll, purchasing, cost control, legislative requirements, financial planning and owner relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial reporting & analysis
- Cash flow management
- Annual budgeting
- The preparation of monthly & end of year financial statements
- BAS & IAS preparation
- Accounts receivable & payable
- Planning/Forecasting - managing forecasts vs. actuals
Essential Requirements:
- CA/ CPA qualified with a minimum of 5 years commercial experience
- Expertise in cost and inventory accounting
- Advanced knowledge of MYOB software
- Strong time management skills
- Calm and professional approach to pressure
- Strong communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Proficient MS Office skills in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Unrestricted right to work in Australia
- Experience in Corporate profit planning and control
