The Company
 
This large ASX listed organisation has been an iconic brand for many years and have been well-established in their industry and have continued to grow and diversify. They have excellent succession plans in place for high calibre individuals and so continue to attract the top talent. Due to an internal movement an outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced and Senior Internal Audit Manager professional to manage the Internal Audit function.
 
The Role
 
Reporting to the Head of Audit you will lead a team of audit managers to assist the organisation to accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic approach to evaluate and test the effectiveness of internal controls, governance processes and risk management. Responsibilities will include:

• Evaluate governance, risk and control frameworks across the organisation and inform senior management of best practices
• Review audit assignments in accordance with the business processes and audit methodology focusing on corporate objectives
• Manage timely follow up of issues to ensure that they have been actioned by management or reported to the Audit Committee
• Provide leadership, training and direction to internal audit team members and develop staff for broader opportunities within the organisation
• Lead a culture of process excellence across the Group
• Manage a wide range of stakeholder relationships and present value adding findings by demonstrating a thorough understanding of the business processes through business reviews and risk assessments
• Manage multiple and complex projects to improve the quality and effectiveness of products and services by the organisation

 
The Candidate
 
You will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Bachelors degree in a Business related discipline, CA/CPA/CIA qualified
• Experience working within a fast moving complex business dealing with change (internal audit in either FMCG/Retail/Manufacturing industries)
• Big 4 experience preferred
• Be a leader who is results driven with a strong client focus to influence and build working relationships with key business stakeholders
