The Company
Our client is a recognisable Australian FMCG brands. They have experienced great growth over the years and are well known nationwide. They are based in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs within walking distance from public transport where they have a great culture offering supportive management to their employees. They are currently searching for a Credit/Collections Officer who is willing to learn and eventually manage their own ledger. Our client will provide substantial training, mentoring and guidance to the successful candidate.
The Role
This Credit/Collections Officer role represents an excellent opportunity for a candidate to be trained in the skill of collections. Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to)
- You will do debt collections calls
- Manage your own ledger
- Reconcile customer accounts
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders
- Answer any queries that you receive regarding debtor accounts
- Processing customer rebates
Your Background
To be considered for this Credit/Collections role, you will ideally have;
- 1 year worth of experience in a similar AR, Credit Control or Collections role
- Possess a great work ethic and desire to learn and work in the Collections / AR space
- Ideally, have experience in a medium to large sized organisation
- Have good communication skills both written and verbal
- Be proactive with your responsibilities
