About the Role

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) has primary responsibility for the planning, implementation, managing and running of all the finance activities of the company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations. The CFO is responsible for obtaining and maintaining investor relations and partnership compliance. 

Your key responsibilities will be to;

• Group accounting for all entities

• Oversee and review the preparation of the monthly accounts and management reporting

• Ensure that the statutory obligations are prepared and submitted within the required time frames including tax compliance

• Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts and provide commentary on the results

• Liaise with Professional Service providers as required

• Asset and Finance Management

• Monitor and analyse the Brand’s performance and submit reports reflecting margins, profits, cash flow and financial results to management on a regular basis

• Prepare and analyse management information and produce reports to assist in management decision making

• Strategy formulation including the management of M&A activities

• Stakeholder and People Management

• Prepare year-end financial reports including the preparation of year-end transactions

• Manage the preparation of year-end audit and assist the external auditors with the audit

About You

You will possess the following qualifications and experience;

• Qualified accountant (CPA, CA or equivalent)

• Requires manufacturing accounting  expertise

• Proven management experience

• Experience in improving process

• Experience working with Professional service providers to achieve outcomes

• Strong Leadership and Communication skills through all levels of the business

• Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of providing insightful financial analysis to senior management

• Strong ability to identify and effect changes to improve financial performance
