Grant Thornton Australia is growing and growth brings career opportunity for a dynamic Forensic Accounting Manager to elevate their career to the next level. You will have the opportunity to apply your experience and expertise across a broad range of forensic engagements including including investigations, fraud risk management litigation support and analytics.

This opportunity will allow you to join a supportive and highly regarded team of experts who will empower you to gain a wide range of exposure including:

  • Conducting complex financial investigations using contemporary investigation methodologies in corporate and government.
  • Preparation, planning and assisting in high profile commercial dispute negotiations
  • Prevention assignments to assist clients prevent, detect and respond to forensic matters/irregular events
  • Review and identification of the critical financial elements relevant to commercial disputes
  • Identification of documents that will assist in the determination of issues in dispute
  • Detailed review and analysis of the financial performance of businesses
  • Research and analysis of a variety of business, industry and economic data/information
  • Client liaison and assist in the provision of expert advice
  • Managing client engagements and junior staff
  • Prepare forensic reports for use in corporate or regulator/court setting
  • Contribute to the forensic team locally and nationally with business development initiatives and team events

You’ll be agile, responsive and most importantly you will bring the right attitude to learn. This role will suit someone with the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Minimum of 4 + years Forensic Accounting experience, ideally in a public practice environment
  • CA/CPA qualification required
  • Ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership
  • Experience with writing forensic reports and commercial disputes advices
  • Strong analytical, forensic accounting and investigative skills
  • A genuine interest in forensic accounting with a desire to build a successful career
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good attention to detail, analytical brain and lateral thinker
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Be a strong team player
