With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Payroll Officer to join their team.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your role will include but not be limited to:
- Fortnightly payroll calculation and processing, email and hand out payslips and process monthly payroll journal
- Prepare and lodge payroll tax, work cover and superannuation on monthly basis and process correspondence journals
- Reconciliation of payroll tax, work cover and superannuation monthly balance sheet rec and annual reconciliation
- Administrative duties: filling, set up new employee folder, hand out starter pack, collect police check and reimburse police check expense
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in Payroll is essential
- Effective time management & organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team environment
- Experience in interpreting awards and EBAs
- Sound analytical & problem solving skills
- Knowledge of payroll processes, taxation, superannuation & payroll tax legislation
