About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an accountant to join our Sydney based practice. This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive, enthusiastic professional with a desire to expand their knowledge, primarily in the area of forensic accounting and to a lesser extent accounting and tax. The work at the firm is varied and challenging.
This is a position for someone with the right attitude, has some tax expertise and wishes to expand their experience. A strong background in forensic accounting is essential.
Some of what you will be doing:
- Business valuations
- Shadow expert reports
- Fraud reports
- Loss of profits reports
- Assist the tax team from time to time.
Who we are looking for:
- CA or CPA Qualified
- 5 to 10 years mixed forensic experience. Mixed Business Services experience is helpful.
- Strong spreadsheet and analytical skills (to “Look-Up” and “table” levels)
- Excellent communication skills combined with strong interpersonal skills
- Life experience outside pure accounting is highly valued
