ABOUT THE COMPANY:
Our client is a regional leader in retail and distribution of performance and lifestyle footwear, with over 430 stores across 10 different retail banners and exclusive distribution rights for 10 international brands across Australia and New Zealand.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled payroll officer to join there team. Experience in using CHRIS21 is a must. The successful applicant must have experience in the following:
- Administering the full end to end payroll process for over 1500+ team members.
- Managing both fortnightly and monthly pay runs.
- Managing all payroll tax and superannuation contributions.
- Managing all personal, long service and sick leave entitlements.
- Assisting in end of month financial reporting and journal entries.
- Managing queries with regard to the payroll.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required by the payroll and finance teams.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Previous experience using CHRIS21
- 2+ years previous experience in similar position
- Excellent communication
- Great negotiation skills
- Ability to multi task and work within a fast- paced environment
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Fast learner
- Intermediate Excel skills
