Financial Accountant - Commercial Construction

Our client is a multi award winning builder who specialise in both high end residential and commercial projects. With a proven track record of success and a large volume of repeat business our client is continually winning high end projects across Sydney and their portfolio is continually growing.

Due to their success, an opportunity exists for a Financial Accountant to join their close knit team. 

Reporting to the Director, responsibilities will include;

• Year end audit close out experience
• Statutory accounting
• Month end financial reporting 
• Monthly balance sheet and profit and loss
• Reconciliations 
• BAS - reconciliation, payment and forecasting
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Monitoring cash flow - balances and cash forecasts

The successful candidate must demonstrate the following skills and experience;

• Degree qualified with CPA/CA completed or being undertaken
• Previous experience in a similar role ideally with exposure to Jobpac
• The ability to work in an ever changing environment and manage conflicting demands
• Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence
• The ability to interact at all levels of the business
• Commercially focused with the desire to achieve strong results
