This reputable, global organisation who pride themselves on being at the top of their game, has an opportunity for an Assistant (Management) Accountant to join their successful finance team in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. The person going into this role will get vast amounts of exposure to well-polished senior stakeholders and this will be a great career building opportunity. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a successful finance team that promotes progression and flexibility.
The successful candidate for this role will provide accounting support to the Senior Accountant for a key business unit, with a focus predominantly on the Management Accounting side. This will include a broad range of tasks such as preparation and detailed analysis of weekly and monthly results, WIP, planning and forecasting and variance analysis and commentaries. This role will also be tasked with spotting areas for process improvements as well as other adhoc projects.

- Strong technical accounting skills and an understanding of impacts of business strategy
- Advanced Excel skills
- Degree qualified (business, accounting or finance), and part qualified or intending to complete CA/CPA/CIMA qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience within a large Finance team with exposure to management accounting responsibilities including budgeting & forecasting
