The client is a growing name in leisure and retail industry looking to take on another Payroll Officer to their growing team. The company is looking to take on and experienced Payroll Officer to work within their dynamic team.

Description

As a Payroll Officer your duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Administering the full end to end payroll process for over 500 staff.

• Managing both fortnightly and monthly pay runs.

• Managing all payroll tax and superannuation contributions.

• Managing all personal, long service and sick leave entitlements.

• Assisting in end of month financial reporting and journal entries.

• Managing queries with regard to the payroll.

• Other ad-hoc duties as required by the payroll and finance teams.

Profile

The successful applicant will have experience working in a full function payroll position previously. In conjunction with experience candidates will need to have used Pay Global systems and be confident in processing all functions including payroll tax and superannuation across this system. A key feature of the successful candidate will be a flexibility in their working attitude and clear communication skills. Ideally candidates will have experience working across retail or leisure sectors however other backgrounds will also be considered.
