Reporting to the Vice President Finance, IT and Operations, this senior management role is responsible for financial governance and compliance for Metagenics Australia and NZ.

In this position you will be responsible for Corporate Planning, Financial Reporting, Transaction Management and the Control Environment. This role is responsible for the leadership and management of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll functions for Australia and New Zealand.
As a key member of senior management within the Finance department, the successful candidate will be required to provide financial performance reporting and forecasting, lead the annual budgeting process and drive corporate month-end processes. Leading a broader team of 12 staff and with 4 direct reports, the ideal candidate will be able to provide leadership, guidance and direction to the team. Effectively communicating financial information and processes across all levels of the business is essential to the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and control key aspects of financial governance and compliance
- Provide executives, managers and leaders with insight into key areas of financial performance
- Prepare financial schedules in accordance with statutory requirements
- Drive the planning and execution of all Corporate month-end requirements
- Lead the annual budgeting process across Metagenics ANZ
- Lead financial forecasting across Metagenics ANZ
- Lead the Metagenics Payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- As a member of Senior Management, provide key business support as required
- Successfully lead and develop your team
- Participate in the development of companywide financial policies, objectives and plans
Key Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting /CPA or CA degree qualification in Accounting or Commerce
- Minimum 10 years’ financial or operational accounting experience, preferably within an FMCG environment
- Proven management ability and experience in leading a large team towards achieving diverse goals
- Proven process improvement and change management skills
- Strong communication, analytical and presentation skills
- Strong business acumen
- Strong ability to consult to a senior customers and stakeholders at Executive level
