Are you a proactive and driven Management Accountant looking for the next step up? Are you a strong business partner that can work closely with a broad range of stakeholders, being truly embedded in the heart and soul of the operations of a business? And able to think strategically over the longer term, with a solid ability to understand and interpret contractual documents?
This exciting and newly created Senior Management Accountant role is with a global market leading business based in Sydney’s CBD. You will gain exposure to broad operational and commercial areas of the business in this genuinely business partnering role, working closely with high-calibre and supportive Operational and Finance leads across Australia, including impressive CFO and Financial Controller. You will also be interacting directly with quality clients, working across a portfolio of key accounts, as well as visibility with other key external stakeholders.

Who are you?
To be successful in this role you will be:
- A management accountant, with 4+ years’ proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis etc
- Demonstrated experience business partnering with operations
- Degree (business, accounting or finance) and ideally CA qualified
- Ideally experienced in an account-based or client-facing environment
- Analytically and commercially minded
- Confident to build relationships, ask questions and challenge assumptions when needed; a leader, not a follower
- Driven, proactive and solutions-focused
- Advanced Excel skills
