Our Client:
This well-known and established international energy company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for their Supply Chain division. Due to growth they have had an internal restructure and are currently looking for someone who can add value within the role and facilitate the constant growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain management reporting to track performance toward key financial and operational metrics to meet data and insight requirements;
- Analyse financial performance to budget/forecast and provide insight into underlying drivers;
- Partner with functional leaders to enable informed analytics-driven decision making;
- Undertake effective and informative analysis to ensure appropriate operational and capital expenditure is managed within budget;
- Undertake financial analysis for input and assessment of business cases;
- Develop tools and systems to monitor revenue streams and provide timely feedback where issues may arise;
- Support the Finance Manager and CFO in business development activities including due diligence, financial modelling, valuation and investment analysis;
- Develop and maintain standardised processes and reporting to drive efficiencies;
- Provide support for the pricing model and negotiate with clients;
The Candidate:
- Extensive experience in analysis;
- High level of proficiency in computer system applications, including integrated financial systems, databases, spreadsheets and personal application software;
- CA / CPA qualification or nearly completed
- 3 to 5 years' experience as a business or commercial analyst
- Strong Excel skills
