About the business and the role
Our public tax accounting practice focuses on SME businesses, but includes all types of clients from large franchises to individuals. Our team is close nit and we are very work/life balanced. You will be able to work alongside experienced and knowledgeable accountants You will have exposure to clients, and manage your own portfolio of work.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Complete financials and tax returns for clients including client meetings.
Prepare all types of financial statements and tax returns
Prepare some BAS returns and reconcile some book keeping issues
Manage your own client portfolio
Deal with the ATO and portal issues as required for your clients
Work alongside other team members in a supportive team environment
Have outstanding communication skills and long term career goals within our firm
Undertake and participate in technical research
Skills and experience
You must have at least 4 years public practice tax experience to apply for this role
Excellent communication skills
Confidence in dealing with clients and their business issues
Handisoft program experience is preferred
