About the Role

This reputable services based organisation has a permanent opportunity available for an experienced Assistant Accountant who is seeking an opportunity to utilise their proven skills and experience with a company who values and appreciates each and every team member.
 
The Responsibilities

Reporting to the Finance Manager your duties will include but not limited to: 
  • Month end closing
  • Balance Sheets
  • General ledgers journals and reconciliations
  • Weekly reporting
  • Statutory Returns
  • Assist with preparation of BAS & FBT
  • Maintain Fixed Assist Register
  • Weekly & End of month reporting
  • Accruals and payments
  • Assisting the team where necessary
The Successful Candidate  
  • Previous experience in a full function Assistant Accountant is a Must
  • High Level MS Excel as must have experience with Pivot tables, V Look Ups and formula's
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be resilient to the environment
  • Be a team player
