A leading Australian organisation requires a Payroll Officer to join their Sydney CBD based team in a permanent capacity.
The Payroll Officer must have experience in a large corporate payroll environment (i.e. more than 1000 employees) in both a Salaried and Award environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll accurately and efficiently
• Prepare PAYG payments as per legislative requirements
• Prepare and issue certificates of service, separation certificates, earnings letters, STP and RBL forms as required
• Prepare Payroll Tax and Superannuation reconciliation and payment as part of month end process
• Import Time and Attendance transactions data into Oracle
• Process superannuation election forms and maintain / update employee superannuation fund details
Key Requirements:
• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Considerable experience in a large corporate payroll environment (i.e. more than 1000 employees) in both a Salaried and Award environment
• Excellent communication skills
