The company
A multinational organisation with employees paid under a range of industrial instruments including EAs and Awards across numerous States.  Working in their Head Office located in the Hills district, this role will engage all your full function skills.

The role
This immediate start contract will run for 3 months.  You will report to the Payroll Manager and work with 2 competent payroll colleagues.  You will support the full function processing of payroll for 2000 staff, paid weekly and fortnightly using MicrOpay Meridian and MitreFinch.
  
The responsibilities
Your key tasks will include:

• Setting up new starters and managing changes to the payroll database.
• Review of timesheets from MitreFinch time and attendance, ensuring pay rates reflect Award and EA conditions.
• Coordinate approvals for the payment run.
• Manage payroll reconciliations.
• Coordinate superannuation and PAYG payments.
• Manage payroll enquiries and resolve issues.
• Prepare monthly payroll reports.

The candidate
In order to be successful in your application, you must have:

• Payroll experience using MicrOpay Meridian.
• Experience with a time and attendance system will be very valuable.
• Experience in end to end payroll processes.
• A collaborative approach to process improvement.

The rewards
The role attracts an hourly rate of $35 plus superannuation, paid weekly.  Public transport is close to the office and there is staff parking.
