The company is now looking for an Accountant-International to join their Group Finance team based in Campbellfield, Victoria. 

The role of the  Accountant-International is to provide support to the Finance Manager and Chief Financial Officer. The key objective is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the General Ledger and to provide senior management with quality management reporting by assisting with monthly variance analysis; external reporting requirements including monthly and annual taxation, and financial statutory reporting.

Reporting to the Finance Manager your key responsibilities will include the following:

• Preparation and analysis of monthly management reporting of P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Assisting in the preparation of regional VAT returns for lodgement by statutory due date.
• Preparing monthly reconciliations of General Ledger accounts and sub-ledgers.
• Ensuring all company assets are monitored and accurately accounted for.
• Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Assisting in developing policies and procedures related to finance functions as necessary.
• Managing and assisting in the maintenance of company ERP software relating to international entities at the direction of the Finance Manager and Chief Financial Officer.
• Undertaking other projects or activities as directed.

Key requirements;

This position requires a working knowledge of accounting principles, an ability to manage tight deadlines, time management skills and the capability to adapt to business needs.

Candidates must ideally be CPA/CA qualified or near completion with relevant experience.

Previous exposure to Microsoft Dynamics NAV will be highly regarded.

Experience with international accounting, tax and regulatory requirements i.e. Singapore, Indonesia and/or New Zealand will be highly regarded.
