Financial Analyst- Financial Services
Hudson are currently working with one of Australia’s largest financial services organisations in the recruitment of a qualified finance analyst. The firm’s focus has been on technology and innovation, and there are major strategic initiatives being driven across the group, providing opportunities for the right candidate to progress within the business in the long term.
Role Responsibilities:
The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Providing business partnering to the senior level stakeholders of surrounding business units
- Identifying and escalating issues and ensuring appropriate risk management and financial control practices are in place.
- Supporting the business by providing customer service in form of financial services and decision support. Effective financial control plays a significant part in this role.
- Supporting the flow of finance work on your portfolio by providing timely and relevant financial information and insights and analysis in support of managing the performance of the business.
- Assist in creating and operating planning and forecasting models and providing driver based metricated analysis in support of the planning and rolling forecast processes.
- Provide information and analysis to support financial evaluation of change initiatives related to the strategic direction of the business.
- Helping the business optimise performance and achieve performance targets, including active support for and involvement in continuous improvement and productivity initiatives.
About you:
- CPA/CA qualification
- Strong accounting background (3-8 years)
- Natural commercial acumen
- Ability to communicate with and influence key stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
