Our client is a market leader in their field, specialising in working capital solutions with a comprehensive range of debtor finance and trade finance facilities. They have an excellent reputation for service delivery and staff development.

Following a company restructure they are looking for a talented senior management accountant to partner with the commercial finance team. 


About the role

Reporting to the Financial Controller the core responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial accounts (including variance analysis) for inclusion in quarterly board papers;
• Budgeting and forecasting/variance analysis;
• Cashflow control ;
• Oversee management of Accounts Payable & Receivables;
• Preparation of schedules for the year-end statutory accounts process
• Lead the development of the annual operating budget & reforecast processes for Aspect Choose & Connect
• Prepare consolidated budget/reforecast reports for presentation to the finance manager
• Prepare and review of balance sheet and GL reconciliations
• Group consolidations; and 
• Identifying and leading process improvement projects. 
• In addition to Ad hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.

Candidate Requirements

• CA or CPA qualified;
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
• 5-7 years post qualification experience;
• Must have strong financial modelling skills;
• Experience engaging with key stakeholders
• Experience in financial services desirable
