The Organisation:
A large, respected and well-known manufacturing organisation is looking for an experienced Group Finance Manager with excellent commercial and reporting skills coupled with strong communication and leadership abilities.  This highly respected organisation has a strong product range and has been able to achieve impressive product penetration across Australia. With recent positive changes and an internal promotion, an opportunity has become available for a highly motivated finance professional to take ownership of this driven and hard-working accounting team. 

The Position:
Working as a leader in a corporate finance team, you will be reporting directly into the Chief Financial Officer and responsible for the preparation of the financial results of the business and its associated entities.  This position will require you to mentor and lead a small team of Accountants while driving process and systems improvements. You will be continuously reviewing and improving on existing processes.  Ultimately, you will have accountability for all the statutory reporting requirements as well as the preparation of monthly and annual reports, taxation compliance, maintaining the General Ledger and coordinating the year end audit.  You will also be heavily involved in driving the budgeting process.    

Your Profile:
It will be highly advantageous if you have worked in practice, preferably within a Big 4 environment. You will need to be a strong leader and mentor and have a demonstrated track record of improving existing process. You should have exceptional time management skills, coupled with an ability to interface with key stakeholders across the business. You will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast paced environment.  Strong Excel skills and good ERP systems expertise will be imperative. To be considered for this role, you will need to be degree qualified and CA/CPA qualified.
