The company

My client is an industry leader within the property and services sector with operations spanning right across Australia. Having experienced continued growth over the past few years, this is to continue with the expansion of over 20 new facilities planned over the next three years.

The role

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance you will be the key point of contact for one of the businesses two key business units. Having a shared services function already in place this will be a purely commercial role responsible for assisting in the businesses budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis with commentary for the relevant cross functional stakeholders. 

The real crux of the role though will sit with your ability to utilise large amounts of data to guide the businesses decision making through effective financial modelling. This will include but not be limited to assisting with M&A transactions, project management of process improvement initiatives and ongoing ad-hoc support for the business. 

About you

• CA/CPA qualified preferred but not essential
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
• Strong excel skills with examples of financial modelling in effect 
• Big 4 background highly desirable 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
