About the Opportunity
Coonamble Shire Council now has a full-time opportunity for a Finance Manager to join their Corporate and Urban Services team in Coonamble, New South Wales.
Reporting to the Director of Corporate and Urban Services, you will be responsible for supporting and consolidating the budgetary and estimates process, accounting for all financial transactions and meeting all reporting, regulatory, accounting standards, and legislative requirements.
In addition, you will also manage the finance and customer service department on a day to day basis, including Service NSW agency, accounts payable/receivable, revenue, rates, and associated processes.
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a tertiary qualification (Diploma or Degree) in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent. You will also need to have demonstrated experience in a similar position and the ability to manage a small - mid-sized team.
